Old John, the Marsala that breaks the rules.
Inspired by John Woodhouse, the Englishman who revolutionised Sicilian wine in 1773, Old John is a tribute to those who changed the game/the rules.
A Marsala Superiore Riserva Ambra Semisecco, made from Grillo, Catarratto and Inzolia grapes, which smells of Sicily in every sip: ripe apricot, carob and chestnut honey.
Outside the box, inside every occasion: perfect as an aperitif, surprising with cheese, and sublime with dessert.
Old John. Tradition, but with character.

REVOLUTION IN A BOTTLE

Marsala Revolution. Three names, one revolution.
John Woodhouse, Benjamin Ingham and Joseph Whitaker: these are the protagonists who made Marsala a legendary wine.
Each one is dedicated to an extraordinary Marsala, combining history and contemporary spirit.
Marsala Revolution wines captivate with their bold taste, modern soul and forward-looking style.
Versatile and original, they don't just tell the story, they rewrite it.

Old John & Food

Who said that Marsala is only for dessert or meditation? Old John accompanies you from aperitif to dessert with unusual but winning combinations.
For an original dinner, start with an aubergine caponata or blue cheeses, continue with sliced tuna with caramelised onion and finish in style with dried fruit.
Serve at 12–14°C (53.6–57.2°F).
