Capoarso is a wine for those who love to be daring. It takes you straight to the wild heart of western Sicily, where the sun beats down and the earth burns — and that is where it gets its name. An extreme territory, but perfect for Perricone, which finds its true soul here. Wild but with style. It smells of violets and has a balsamic touch.On the palate, it is bold and savoury, with dense tannins that boldly reflect its terroir.

THE RENAISSANCE OF PERRICONE

Perricone is the soul of Capoarso.
An ancient, entirely Sicilian grape variety, not very generous, difficult to cultivate and even more difficult to vinify. It is no coincidence that, over time, many have abandoned it. But not us. We have chosen to rediscover and enhance it.
The result? Capoarso: an uncompromising wine, intense, enveloping, and with all the grit of this rebellious grape variety. Ancient roots, a whole new style to be discovered and enjoyed

Capoarso & food

Ideal with a platter of local cold cuts and cheeses, it also
pairs perfectly with meatballs in sauce, grilled sausage and
barbecued meats. Excellent with flavourful first courses,
such as those based on meat sauce or mushrooms. Serve at 16–18°C (60.8–64.4°F).
