“With the will to appear in a new vintage way, Pellegrino rediscovers those shapes and materials, remained to testify an age in some ways unrepeatable, using them as a source of inspiration”
An identity that taps into vintage, pop, foaming and contagious enthusiasm of the Fifties and Sixties and creates a contemporary Pellegrino image, in any form, from packaging to special packages, from promotional material to advertising campaigns. Sometimes, it is like taking a plunge into the years of Beatles and Andy Warhol, of eccentric colours, coloured geometries and prêt-à-porter.

The legendary Sixties are the years that bring with them the history of the design and of the new way to conceive lifestyle, by combining functionality to new aesthetic concepts. Arts are subjected to deep innovations, using new expressive languages. Coloured brush strokes liven up everyday objects and the search for artistic instruments begin to mostly characterize what we can define contemporary art. The aesthetic movement of the Sixties takes the form of a happy-go-lucky youth in constant search for forms of evasion.

The Pellegrino style draws on these emotions, presenting itself in a modern and minimal guise, starting from the choice of the fonts, such as those of Tareni and Batò: linear, sans-serif, effective and immediate, able to visually render the creative and disruptive force, that managed to give the society a turning point in the Seventies. With the will to appear in a new vintage way, Pellegrino rediscovers that shapes and materials, remained to testify an age in some ways unrepeatable, using them as a source of inspiration. From wooden boxes to coloured tins, from optical drawings to lively geometries, new objects designed to give a wave of freedom and nonconformity are created.

“Playing with strong contrasts, travelling in the past in a modern way”

Composed elegance, sobriety and fine beauty in a face framed by showy earrings. As a background vertical brilliant brightly coloured lines. Rendered contemporary in a new vintage style, it is today the symbol of the Pellegrino brand, dedicated to light heartedness and to the colours of Sicily. The poster is proposed in the new printed materials, shopping bags, cylindrical bottle holders and metal boxes where the precious wines of the winery are held. A perfect present for those who love good wine and the design of the Sixties. And for lovers of vintage posters, the colourful and fun ones that have as subjects the man in suit or the sailor, which are able to tell the story of the most fascinating wine of Sicily with vitality, are not to be missed.
Geometries and optical fantasies are even found in the printed material and in the communication. It is like travelling back into the Sixties and hearing a pop sound all around us. Playing with strong contrasts, we travel into the past in a modern way, using materials like wood with an almost worn-out effect, to give new life to the emotion of the commercial history of the Marsala of the wine, allowing good drinking to be not only the search for aesthetic pleasure, but also to be a taste of something more fun and joyful. As in those years, the will to give everyday objects a new life becomes the priority. And in Marsala we even recover old barrels, forged by old art craftsmen.
From the freshest and youngest style there is, there are also the desirable objects of geometric and multicoloured patterns. Lively containers for the best Pellegrino labels which are objects of design to reuse and to collect. Unusual and with a big inscription Pellegrino 1880, with fonts that remind us of overseas shipping, are the wooden or metal boxes. True collection musts, that can contain up to 6 Marsala bottles. A precious and unique gift which identifies the history of the wine itself from the design, becoming a treasure chest for true connoisseurs, strong yet minimal at the same time.
